At about 8 last night in the middle of Christmas Eve festivities and with a house full of family the power went off. Did someone say "Murphy's Law"? (see yesterday's post) Fortunately for us we have a generator and it actually had enough gas in it to run the lights long enough for everyone to pack up kids and gifts and food and everything else and head for their own homes! Unfortunately it is now late Christmas afternoon and we still have no power. So much for DTE's promise last night that power would be restored in about 5 hours. Oh well...at least our party wasn't today! Haha to you Murphy's Law!!
